Area of Focus: Surgical Technician main OR.
Skills: Training in all aspects of operating room technology such as pre, intra, post-operative patient care Assists surgeon during surgery such as General, OB/GYN, GU, Vascular, Neurology, Nose and Throat, Ortho. Set-up, organized instrument in the back table and maintain sterile field making sure that no one has violated the sterile procedure. Anticipate surgeon’s need and communicate to the entire team in order to provide excellent patient care, handling special medication and solutions, passing instrument to the surgeon. Assists in cleaning the room while maintaining sense of humor to make everybody smile and lightened up their day. Prepare case cart and gather’s equipment for the next case.
