    Volunteer Description:
    Volunteers will work for 5 days in the Rotary clinic in Colomba. They have to volunteer for a minimum of 5 days. As a thank you, we offer a 4 day trip touring Mayan country, historic Antigua and volcanos, either before or after the work week.
    Fourth year dental and medical students can do clinical work under the supervision of a dentist. Teams are encouraged to apply.

    Carmen Mombiela Clinic
    This is 4- 4 ½ hours from Guatemala City. It is 2 miles from volunteer lodging and 20 minutes from the nearest large city Coatepeque. During clinics, transportation daily will be provided.

    There is adequate space for 4 dentists, and 4 hygienists. All basic equipment and many extras are provided.

    We are at 3000',so it is cool. Bring mosquito spray with DEET for long/short-term volunteering terms. International telephone access is available at the lodging and clinic. Internet access is available in the village 2. Any medical professional who wishes to work in the country as a volunteer has to send a copy of his current license to us, so the Rotarians can process the permit with the Ministry of Health.

    Requirements:
    Visas: We do not need Visas.

    Fees:
    Range from $350 (student - clinic only), $400 (Professional) to $700 and $800for total trip- clinic plus travel. All ground costs included except beverages and personal purchases.

    How Do I Apply?

    3. Upon receipt of your materials, we will process your application, obtain necessary work permits and deploy you to your volunteering site. Filling out the volunteering form is not a guarantee of placement, but we do try to accommodate as many volunteers as possible during the times you request. Please remember you will have to pay your own visa, temporary licensure or other governmental fees necessary. In the mean time, please gain the latest recommended immunizations
