Current Volunteer Opportunities (Unpaid Positions)
Hospice Patient/Family support needed for 1 to 3 months
Opportunity Description: Each assignment is unique and varies depending on the patient/family's needs and the volunteer's availability and interests. Some possible assignments may include providing companionship to a patient through conversation, reading aloud, reminiscing, watching movies/television, doing hobbies/crafts and/or journaling. Other assignments aid the caregiver by running errands such as grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, light housekeeping, cooking and/or sitting with the patient while the caregiver attends to his/her own personal needs. Volunteers do not have to provide medical or personal care to the patients and designate when and where they are assigned.

Opportunity Description: Assist with light office duties: filing, mailings, computer data entry, copying, faxing, phones and any other special projects based on skill levels.

Volunteering Opportunities
We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities for people interested in donating their time to the healthcare community. Many of our volunteers offer companionship, respite and personal care to our hospice patients and their families during this difficult time. Previous experience is not required and we provide all training through the agency.
