Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
Established by a South Carolina-based family physician in 1995, the foundation's seaside clinic in Lim?n, Honduras, treats an impoverished, underserved population. Physicians in all specialties are needed to join U.S. medical teams that travel to Honduras year-round, usually for one-week stints. Volunteers are self-funded, but comfortable on-site housing and local transportation are available. |
