She is an assistant professor of Family and Community Medicine at the School of Medicine of the University of California, San Francisco. The clinic volunteer program is offered as an international elective by University of California, San Francisco University of California, Davis, and University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, students from medical schools throughout the U.S. have participated in the program. The Casa Clinic program has hosted volunteers from all walks of health care: acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors, nurses, midwives, physician assistants, physicians of a variety of specialties, dentists, physical therapists- all sharing with us and learning from one another. Great for medical students looking to improve their Spanish language interviewing skills.
