FAVA/CA's volunteers are experts in their fields from corporations, government, universities, professional and trade associations. Volunteers serve a relatively short one or two weeks in the field per consultation, but can return as often as dictated by the needs of the partner. Many consultants develop life-long relationships with colleagues overseas. No language is necessary, however Spanish, French, and Creole are helpful. A 3 to 10 day stay is typical.
