Opportunity Description:
In this role volunteers provide assistance to the patient and family by offering support services. Duties may include: visiting patients at the hospital, nursing facility, or in their home to provide companionship and support; light housekeeping; running errands; preparing light meals and snacks; reading; playing an instrument; child care for the family or any other speciality projects the family might request or need.

Opportunity Description:
In this role volunteers will participate in our pet program. Duties include visiting a patient who owns a pet, specifically to help meet the needs of the animal. Therapy Dogs and their handlers are also included in Milo’s Friends.
