Volunteering your time at the Howard University Hospital means becoming part of one of the best hospitals in the United States.

Volunteering at HUH also means making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Our team of volunteers contributes an invaluable part of the care that we provide. A variety of activities is available to you as a volunteer. Some involve direct contact with patients; others involve working with families and visitors, while still others occur behind the scenes. While performing this much valued community service you will make new friends, learn new skills, and enjoy other benefits, but perhaps the greatest reward of all is personal satisfaction.
