Founded in 1933, IRC is the leading non-sectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. IRC is committed to freedom, human dignity and self-reliance.This commitment is reflected in well-planned resettlement assistance, global emergency relief, rehabillitation and advocay for refugees. IRC physicians and nurses assist refugees worldwide. Assignments typically last one to six months. Volunteers receive a stipend and are most often needed for health care administration, public health, primary care, and tropical medicine. Faxed r?sum?s are preferred.
