Total Number of Volunteers Needed: 1 Find Out More Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information) The Jatun Sacha Foundation (JSF) is an Ecuadorian Conservation/ Non-Profit organization that owns and manages 8 biological stations. JSF offers volunteer programs and Natural History Courses for groups, students, or individuals interested in developing a wide variety of activities including community health and nutrition, data field research, environmental education, community development, plant conservation, agroforestry, reforestation, and reserve maintenance. The JSF mission is: conservation of biodiversity, scientific research, environmental education, and community development. Volunteers, visitors, groups, and researchers are allocated in houses or cabins at each Biological Reserve. Three meals a day are offered. Jatun Sacha USA is the Jatun Sacha Foundation?s official representative in that country. Spanish and English speakers are welcome at the biological reserves. If a volunteer requires Spanish classes, we can arrange Spanish sessions with well recognized institutions locally.
