Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
"The Jewish
Renaissance Medical
Center, Inc. is
dedicated to deliver
preventive and
primary medical
services to the
underserved and the
uninsured population in
a culturally competent
environment in
Middlesex County,
regardless of race
or ethnicity."
Since 1995, the Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) has worked to bring quality, accessible and culturally competent social, medical and educational programs to Middlesex County and countries abroad. From our humble beginning, the JRF developed programs to meet the needs of the communities it serves. As a result, we believe we have progressively and greatly contributed to a healthier, happier and more productive society.
Today, as we continue our mission, the JRF is increasingly challenged to maintain the high levels of progress that have been achieved in our distinguished history of service. The JRF espouses an enduring and visionary commitment to service the needy, working poor and indigent population of our community.
In July 2002, under President Bush's Faith-based Initiative, the Jewish Renaissance Foundation Medical Center was selected as the first Federally-qualified Health Care Center in the country.
JRF seeks volunteer physicians in all specialties for its free clinic and disaster relief teams in New Jersey. OLI, its foreign program, sends volunteers to underserved, primarily Jewish communities in eastern Europe, the Caribbean, the former Soviet Union, India, and Israel. Most missions last one to two weeks. Pediatricians, trauma specialists, and doctors who speak the language of their host country are especially welcome.
