Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
We respect the worth of each individual and are committed to providing excellent patient care with compassion, kindness and integrity.
Largo Medical Centers Volunteer Program welcomes people of all ages. Our volunteers are retirees, professionals, homemakers, students, part-time residents and men and women of all backgrounds who live in surrounding communities. They are very special people who have one common purpose - they want to help others and make a difference.
You dont need special skills or training to become a volunteer. Every volunteer brings his or her individual interests, talents and experience to our volunteer program, and each plays a unique and important role.

Each prospective volunteer is interviewed and together we determine where your interests and skills best match the needs of the hospital. Once you have chosen your service area in the hospital, you will receive a thorough orientation and on-the-job training. Volunteers are assigned to work one three-hour shift per week, and many of our dedicated volunteers work more frequently.
