General Clerical Volunteer needed for 1 to 3 months
Opportunity Description: General clerical volunter Volunteer who performs general office duties in the LLS office during regular business hours 9:00 AM ? 5:00 PM Monday ? Friday Purpose Clerical volunteer duties support staff efforts to meet the organization?s communication objectives with donors, program participants and patients. Tasks,duties and responsibilities Some of these duties include mailing, labeling, packet assembly, data entry, database maintenance, phone and email communications Qualifications Clerical volunteers must have basic working knowledge of office equipment (copiers, faxes, computers) and the ability to use and/or learn software applications (where needed). Other volunteer positions require a good phone voice and good written and verbal communications. Relationships Volunteers may work in any of LLS departments under department supervision Help given Training and support for use of office equipment will be given and on-going support for questions, direction, and approval provided during volunteer service Required Availability Volunteer is needed on a project-to-project basis. Some projects have greater lead time than others; typically lead-time is 2 days. Hours needed are between 9:00 AM ? 5:00 PM Monday ? Friday in the LLS office.
