We stand to move with a Vision
We seek to attain desirable societies where empowered widows, orphans, vulnerable women and children and other marginalized groups can communicate their ideas, exhibit their potential and take action to change their lives, communities and country at large.
Our Mission,
To empower widows and vulnerable women, support orphans and other vulnerable groups, mitigate poverty through social economic empowerment,advocacy, mobilization and support.
Our motto,
Nothing about us without usMaaka Orphans and Widows Associations Uganda ( MOWA UGANDA) , is a community based organization that was set up to holistically address the issues that affect the communities more so widows,orphans,vulnerable women and children then the elderly, the purpose of this organization was born out of need love and commitment and concern of caring members to assist other less privileged,the organization is one of the very few of its kind in the Eastern region of Uganda focusing on widows, orphans,girl child,elderly and youth empowerment, it is fully registered as a community based organization with the government of Uganda under the registration number 3923. |
