Our volunteers are diverse, from students to retirees and part-time to full-time volunteers. Volunteers are a very special part of MIHS. They make it possible to fulfill the many needs and projects that benefit patients and families as well as the community we serve. The common thread that links all of our volunteers is compassionate and dedicated service. There are many ways volunteers can become involved at MIHS, and we can work with you to match your interests with our needs. You can volunteer your time in patient-focused or non-patient positions which include the following: Patient Navigator, Clinic Greeters, Emergency Room (adult and pediatric), Arizona Burn Center, Reach Out and Read, Operating Room Waiting and Holding Area, and Pet Therapy.
