Mission: Provide medical assistance to developing countries most in need of services, supplies, and medicines due to their extreme poverty, economic and political upheaval, and lack of existing services and personnel.



Who is Eligible? : Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Optomitrists, Nurses, health administrators, and allied personnel in good standing as well as fund raisers.



What we do: Provide volunteer placement and train medical volunteers at our Medical Center in Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe and elsewhere.



Language requirement: Must be fluent in English to a level to function in a medical environment where only English and local dialects are spoken.



Licensing: All volunteers must complete our program application and submit the appropriate application to the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health, a process that generally takes 2 months.



Minimum commitment: At present, 3 months, preferably 6 months to 1 yr +. For shorter commitment requests, submit application, CV



Provided: Housing and meals are provided. All travel associated expenses are the responsibility of the volunteer and/or sponsors.



Required for entry: All entry and other requirements are listed in our volunteer manual which is available to interested candidates.
