Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
MIBOS is a not for profit Christian local organization in Tanzania which has a strategic plan aimed at improving the livelihood of vulnerable people both physically and spiritually. Our projects range from health care, income generation, and nutrition improvement, capacity building training to enhance managerial, leadership skills, church planting and evangelism through actions. We encourage agricultural production and help the community to respond to market demand.
MIBOS also aims to ensure food security, and to this end, participates in policy analysis, advocacy, and lobbying. In addition, MIBOS takes part in tree planting in villages and runs environmental conservation activities in 45 villages, including the provision of training for environmental officers and improvement of the water supply. MIBOS is headquartered in Kigoma and has its branch offices in Mwanza, in Arusha, Tanzania and in Bujumbura, Burundi. Now, we are pleased to come to you to apply for the establishment of a partnership. We hope that your organization will help us to solve the problem of fighting against poverty and it will help underprivileged women and children in the rural regions in Tanzania to improve their lives.
Regarding the affiliation requirements, MIBOS welcomes volunteers who want to serve for long term in Tanzania. You can apply to serve with MIBOS either in in Kigoma, in Mwanza , in Arusha or in Bujumbura, Burundi. We are ready to provide accommodation in Mwanza.
