The Overseas Medical Assistance Team (OMAT)is seeking volunteers for its humanitarian mission to Guyana from August 6-13, 2006. Missionary minded family practitioners, pediatricians, OB/Gyns, cytologists and nurses are invited to apply. OMAT volunteers donate their airfare and expertise for each mission. Accommodations and meals are provided. Founded in 1992, OMAT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare in the Caribbean and other developing countries through volunteer assistance.
