Pamoja international voluntary services (P.I.V.S) is a non-profit, without any political or religious affiliation a registered non governmental organization reference OP.218/051/2006/0516/4499, based in Nairobi Kenya. Our objective is to organize International work camp and, mid and long term volunteer program, where both local and international volunteers offer their services for free, in collaboration with community groups or institutions in need of voluntary labour or service to empower community self-help initiatives.
PIVS objective is to co-ordinate socio-cultural interaction between people of diverse background by creating opportunities for both local and international volunteers to exchange their experience and skills. Volunteers may be volunteering in schools, teaching primary school students, working in hospitals as counselors/nurses, facilitating leadership camps with school groups, working in Children’s or Disabled homes, leading classes and working in environmental projects, arts and culture, or with the community in projects such as construction of water tanks, bridges, roads, etc.
