Mission Statement: (See Web Site For Updated Information)
The Peruvian American Medical Society (P.A.M.S.) was founded on September 8, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia, by a group of Peruvian physicians led by Dr. Agust?n Arbul?, all graduates of San Marcos University of Lima, Per?, and members of the San Fernando School of Medicine, Class of 1954, also known as Promoci?n Juan Werner.

Since 1983, PAMS has sent 40 medical missions to Peru, providing surgeries and general health care to the poor. Physicians are needed to work in outpatient clinics on missions that generally last one or two weeks. Recent missions have worked in Iquitos, Ayacucho, and Andahuaylillas-Huatata.
