To do this, we rely on community volunteers from bilingual homemakers to retired business executives to students interested in health careers. We do our best to match your interests and abilities with the needs of the hospital. Minimum Requirements We are not able to accept court-ordered service applications.Volunteers must meet the following requirements: Commit to at least one year of service and dedicate a minimum of 50 hours within a year Purchase and wear a uniform (20 for the top) Complete an annual TB test Participate in ongoing training Adult volunteers are asked to pay membership dues to become a member of the Sharp Chula Vista Auxiliary (20 introductory dues, 5 annual renewal). Junior volunteers: Be at least 14 years old and have completed the 8th grade. Junior volunteers: Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a written recommendation from their school counselors (form provided at introduction session).
