Breast Health Education Volunteer needed for
3 to 6 months
Opportunity Description:
For those women who have been personally affected by breast cancer, have a passion for women's health education, or who have free time and want to serve in a meaningful way, this is the volunteer opportunity for you!
Training is provided, with materials from the Susan G. Komen Foundation, so volunteers can then, educate patients and guests on how to conduct monthly breast self exams while they are in the clinic waiting room.
3 hour shifts are available, during daytime hours.

Volunteer Physician needed for
More than 1 year
Opportunity Description:
New providers are needed in the following specialties: Gynecology, Urology, Family Practice and Internal Medicine.
Volunteer physicians go through a credentialing process before seeing patients, which includes submitting resume, DEA, license, references and proof of malpractice insurance.
Shifts of service at the clinic are 3-4 hours and are available during the morning (9am - noon), afternoon (1-5pm), evening (6-8pm) or on Saturday (10am - noon).

Physical Therapists needed for

Opportunity Description:
With a backlog of uninsured patients currently needing to be seen by a physical therapist, mostly for chronic back / neck pain or other orthopedic issues, new volunteer PTs are needed at Siloam.
Shifts of service at the clinic are 3-4 hours and are available during the morning (9am - noon), afternoon (1-5pm), evening (6-8pm) or on Saturday (10am - noon).

Volunteer Nurse needed for

Opportunity Description:
Siloam Family Health Center is open 45 clinic hours per week, which includes evenings and Saturday mornings. Therefore, volunteer nurses are always our biggest need!
Volunteer nurses must have an active TN license to see patients at the clinic.
Shifts of service at the clinic are 3-4 hours and are available during the morning (9am - noon), afternoon (1-5pm), evening (6-8pm) or on Saturday (10am - noon).
