The skills of our physicians along with new and better technology are certainly major components. Yet the underlying force has been the commitment and motivation to heal and to offer the best quality of life possible in our community. Our volunteers donate over 18,000 hours of service each year, and usually work one three-hour shift a week . . . or more, if desired. Shifts are scheduled beginning at 8 a.m. with evenings and weekend hours also available. No experience is necessary - just enthusiasm and commitment. Our volunteers make a significant contribution to the hospital by faithfully giving their time and talent to patients, families, the hospital staff and visitors.
