Women who have compassion, good listening skills, a desire to make a difference and have a positive impact on the life of a woman with cancer are characteristics of people we are looking for to volunteer with this program. Good match and opportunity for Social Work, Psych., counseling students.

The Betts volunteer needs to be able to explain the program parameters during the initial visit and to establish boundaries for a good relationship with a new client.

If a Betts volunteer transports their client it is required that a copy of their current car insurance be submitted to Women?s Cancer Resource Center.
