We have a dedicated group of some 150 active volunteers who work alongside busy health-care teams in more than 30 areas of the hospital. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, all age groups - students through seniors - each with a unique gift to contribute: Our Waiting Rooms Volunteers assist patients and their families who are waiting for various tests or procedures. Our Information Desk Volunteers are often the first faces a visitor sees coming to the hospital, and are always ready to give directions and information. Our Gift Shop Volunteers run our general shop on the main floor, and Miracles, the shop for moms and babies on the fourth floor. We even have a Used-Book Sales Group that organizes our monthly sales of used books, which are a great source of income for the hospital.
