    Volunteer Description:
The partner organization is a non-profit registered in Dhamar city-Yemen in 2005, involving in community services and human care activities for needy people in Dhamar and whole Yemen.
This company is interested in any volunteer teachers of English who are able to educate adults and children who have a beginning standard. You would be welcome to assign the curriculum and lessons taught. This will be held in Dhamar city.
Yemen is in need of physicians from all specialities (except Dentistry) because there is a lack of good medical care services throughout the whole of Yemen. The Authorities are not able to cover the needs of the population. We have set up an open programme for visiting volunteering physicians. The programme will be functional in Sana’a and Dhamar cities. We will aim to provide visitng physicians with housing, food and internal transportation. These physicians will only be required to pay for their air transport to Yemen and their visa.
We have a good relationship with medical establishments in Sana’a the capital, Dhamar, Hodiedah and Taiz. Our health service provision programme is still in urgent need of surgeons, physicians and other medical personnel. Those interested should provide us with a copy of their resumes, previous work experience, valid passports and a recently taken passport photo. The organisation will then take care of the official processes with the authorities.
We are a member of Alliance for NGOs in Sana’a and Dhamar. Mr. Ahmed Al-Masri is the External Relations Officer for this Alliance.Currently, we are planning to call on our counterpart NGOs to work with us in our community service programs such as Al-Wafa, Al-Etqan, Unions of Yemen’s Women and Development and population foundation.
The two programs will be operated in Sana’a the capital and Dhamar cities. Both of two cities are located at the cenatl highland regions in Yemen, where the population is 4 million. The weather is the same in two cities. Also, both of two cities have all important living utilities and services. Many foreigner communities live in two cities in peace as generally the locals are very friendly.
We expect to help more than 2000 people through the program of ESL in Dhamar and a very large number of patients through the medical providing programme in Sana’a and Dhamar. We do not charge any free for the community service.
